Jabba's Comments

Joined Leeds with Jonjo Flood from Irish champions Shamrock Rovers in 1923, he never found a regular place in the Leeds line-up and returned to Shamrock the following year. Having scored the Republic's first ever international goal, he spent a year playing in the USA before returning for a third stint with Shamrock and a third league championship.

Craig Sidda says: I am the boyfriend of Bob Fullam's great niece. Although I live in Leeds, Mairead Fullam lives in Cabra, Dublin. My girlfriend's father, Bob Fullam's nephew, is also named Bob. He is still alive and kicking and living in Cabra, Dublin. Congratulations on your info.Found it very interesting!

Robert Fullam says: I am Bob Fullam's grandson Rob Fullam. I live in Dublin and apparently play the same style of football. Supposedly Bob Fullam was a bit of a wind up merchant and a tough player too I've been told he is most similar to Dennis Wise

Robert Fullam says: My name is robert fullam ,i live in wicklow i am the grandson of bob fullam, i am curious to know who your father is....

Robert Patrick Fullam says: my father's name is Bob Fullam. He is the nephew of "Give it to Bob" Fullam. We have a picture from his Shamrock Rovers days. My dad is from City Key, Dublin and now lives in Canada. I will get him to look this web site up soon.

John Fulham says: We now have a family web-page, I rececently visited Dublin and spent a few hours with Patrick Fulham of Ringsend. He is also a relative of the "Famous Bob", I would like to include the family members who played Football on our General Family page. I have requested some more information about the Dublin families especially in Ringsend and also the Quays of Dublin City. We need to know more of the building trades and the family involvemet with the area of St; Audeons gate. Glaziers, Masons, Bookbinders and Printers. We held our first family meeting in November, of Three different branches of this ancient Norman family, originally from Swords County Dublin 1294A;D. We are hopeful this will become an Annual meeting of different long-lost cousins. Our site covers the past 800 years of our family in several countries. USA, Canada, Australia, Agentine. In the main sense this being in Ireland and England. You may wish to join us we are all related, we have a site covering several hundred pages and we wish to learn more of our unique family. contact Tom Fullam in New York, e-mail address thetribe _at_ catskill.net. John Fulham of Liverpool.

Jim Fullam says: My dad Joe was from the North Strand in Dublin and I believe his dad Jimmy was related to Bob Fullam. Most of the family are quite good footballers although I have not inherited the football gene. Funnily enough I always played inside left when I was growing up and my grandad was left footed as well.

David Flood says: My great uncle Jonjo Flood played at shamraock rovers and Leeds with him. Does anyone have any information on Jonjo Flood?

Have your say

Did you see Bob Fullam play? Did you meet him in a pub, go to school with him, decorate his house or buy a motor from him? If you've got any comments or stories about Bob Fullam on or off the pitch, just fill in the form below and (provided they're not blatantly libellous) I'll add them to this page. And just a quick note to the spammers who try to add their links to this page by attempting to get round the client-side validation: don't bother - the server side does similar checks and throws your garbage straight into the bit bucket.
