Young Welsh forward who did well in the reserves but never commanded a regular place in the first team. Linked up with Eddie Gray at Rochdale and top-scored for them in Division 4.

David Tierney says: I saw Lyndon score 2 goals against Portsmouth in 1985, the second one a penalty, I think this was his league debut? He looked like a future star but didn't quite make it

Paul Veale says: I was a triallist at Cardiff City when Lyndon was on their books too. He was always banging on about his trial with Arsenal and got up everyone's hooter. Glad he at least made the pro level unlike myself
