The Games

The FA and Football League have informed me that they hold the "copyright and all other rights in the fixture list". Since they want nigh on £300 for the right to print a series of dates and names, I've decided to remove anything that could reasonably be deemed to infringe on their rights in that area. I strongly dispute anyone's claim to intellectual property in what amounts to a collection of "miscellaneous facts or mere items of press information", but I have neither the time nor the money to take this fight to court. I leave it to the reader to form their own opinions on the rights and wrongs of a large organisation issuing legal threats to not-for-profit websites and individuals who have been supporting the game and promoting it in an entirely positive way. If you want to see a full list of who we'll be playing when, I suggest you use the BBC's fixture list, which is well-presented, any-browser compatible and fast-loading.
