From a family better known for its Rugby League players, Peter
showed great promise as a schoolboy, but never really fulfilled it
when playing the professional game. Although he was part of the
Burnley side that won the Division 4 title in 1992, he only appeared
once that season and was released afterwards.
David Mills says: Peter was a gentleman. Quiet and went about his
business professionally. I spent two years with Peter on our
apprenticeship.
Gormy says: I played a school game against him when I was about 15
- he came on as sub (was playing for the next age group up) - seem to
remeber marking him out of the game ;-)
Joanne says: I used to go out with peter. He was always a perfect
gentleman. Someone ill never forget. i wish him well in everything he
does!
