Jabba's Comments

Compact Scottish forward who was picked up by the club as a 16-year-old and made his debut at the age of 17. The following season he became a regular, and his goal-scoring talents looked like they had a promising future at the club. After a couple of injuries, he found himself sidelined and subsequently sold to Oldham by Billy Bremner. His one and only international honour came as a substitute in an U-21 game against Belgium. His best spell as a player probably came during his time at Leicester, when he held down a regular place for 3 years and picked up a respectable number of goals: his time at Boro was less productive with injuries starting to prove his undoing.

Sara Millard says: Tommy Wright currently plays for KLFC or so his sponsored car says so, but who are they? Any ideas? (Sara later answers herself: Kings Lynn Football Club). He currently trains St Philips RC School's football team (Middleton, Leeds), where he attends church most Sundays!

Scott says: Tommy Wright had a spell at St Johnstone and Livingston as well
