Left-winger signed from junior football in Sheffield who played more games
for Leeds during the war years than he did in "real" games. He was moved to
the south-west to work during the war, and this lead to a post-war transfer
to Bristol City.

James Rhodes says: Jack Hargreaves was my great uncle and my mother
still has his Central League winners medal for the 1936/7 season. At
Yeovil Town, Jack was a member of the side that famously knocked
Sunderland out of the 1949 FA Cup. He died in Bristol on 22nd December
1978.
