Winger signed by Billy Bremner who never really produced the form that
his performances in Scotland had promised. After a couple of loan spells,
he was sold to Rotherham.
Mike Forster says: John Buckley was your out and out winger. He
was so tricky he often tricked himself and as a consequence often
ended up flat on his backside. Another for the worse Leeds 11 !

working with the Rotherham United Football in the community scheme. A
tricky player who loved a nutmeg, and a fun person to be around. I
would like to hear from anyone who has any info regarding John's
whereabouts. Since I moved to the USA I have lost contact.

football coaching level 2 certificate. He is a great man who still has
a great deal of skill and ability from his playing days and also he is
the best coach i have ever been coached by and he now coaches the hull
city youth team.
