A youngster about whom I know three eighths of sod all I'm afraid -
he's not yet made an appearance for the first team, but did have a
couple of loan spells and a run for the reserves. He was released by
the club without ever appearing for the first team in June 2001.
He's had little luck at Barnsley with serious injuries keeping him
out of first team contention for over a season.
Zukkster says: Does this man exsist? I think he's really a piece of
accounting fraud straight from the Enron school of accounting. On the
books, paid a wage, nobody has ever seen him play. Oh apart from the
one game when he came on as sub with 10 minutes remaining and got sent
off!! Then got injured in training. Darren Anderton's long lost twin
(younger!) brother.
Stuart Lumb says: Don't know the lad at all. However he did go to
my school but he was three years above me. My tutor was Kevin's PE
teacher and he said Kevin was the best player he had ever seen at my
school. In about February 2000 he said Dixon was ready to ask to
leave Leeds. He also said that during his loan spell at York, York
were very keen to sign him. This is all I know about him.
chris bell says: i grew up with kevins brother and watched him play
from schoolkid to his teens and he really stood out.he went to chelsea
as a youth and appeared on a tv documentry about their team(ran by g
rix).he left soon after to join leeds.but i think something happened
during his time there and he ended up playing reserve team football
with one or two loan deals thrown in.he went to barnsley but their
situation finacially plus kev's injury put pay to any career
there.kev's had no luck at all but still has a lot to offer.i think if
leeds had given him his chance they might just had a quality
player.
