Jabba's Comments

Promising young striker who has done well for the reserves but has yet to make an impact on the first team. Had a loan spell at Hull and made it to the bench for the cup replay against Gillingham. After a great spell of scoring for the reserves, he made his debut against Charlton and has become a regular on the bench under Peter Reid, and we'll be expecting a lot more from him next season.

Max Harlow says: Just like to say Congratulations to him on getting his squad number (the same no. 39 shirt in which Smithy made his dbut, and we all know what happened then...). Don't really know much about him, apart from the fact he's got football's commonest surname: Seth, Simon, Leon, Tommy, Andy, Michael, Damien, Eddie, Jermaine, Andrew - of all the Johnsons in the Premiership & First Division, you could make a whole squad! And that's without even considering the likes of Ronny Johnsen, Allan Johnstone, Eidur Gudjohnsen, Matt Jansen, the 4 Coles, the 3 Svenssons, the Ferdinand clan - I could go on all night... And as for Ulrika Jonsson - don't even go there! But anyway, good luck to him, and I hope he makes his debut this season (the same goes to all our youth stars; who needs big-mones signings anyway?).

Donna says: Yeah gd luck simon ure a quality player (he plays 4 us so hes gotta b and yes im biased)go 4 it simon and seen as there is no page 4 arron can i just say the premiership is w8ing 4 that guy cos hes mint!!! go Lennon!!!

Simon Murray says: Im a Blackpool fan and he made his debut for us today and what a very skillful and exciting talent he looks.

Stan53 says: Good Luck on your loan spell at Blackpool............Bag a few for the Tangerine Dream

Steve Armitage says: Turned out for Blackpool yesterday. Played out of position. Showed some good touches and is very quick. Needs to adjust to the rough and tumble of life in the second.

sarah** says: i luv him so much!!!! he's doing very well 4 the tangerine army (my dad suports them so i follow them 2nd 2 leeds of corse!) i think he will do well in the future he's got the talent, the looks the every thing!! if any1 knos simon tel him that he's gorge!!!! yum!! xxxxxxx

Simon Johnson says: greetings from suffolk. always intriguing and great to find a namesake. best wishes to you si. from a barnsley fan in ipswich :-{

Laura Haxton says: m Simons girlfreind Laura, I like to check out the web to see what feedback he's getting. Happy 21st by the way hun. Simons is a wicked footy player. He is doing really well for the reserves and how can the top goal scorer at Leeds United not be in the first team squad. He so talented and a lovely person too. Keep up the hard work babe. Love you, Lor xxxxxxx

Lor says: What is with all the old men strikers that Leeds have just bought. I hate the fact that they have a really talented striker right in there faces and he is never goning to get a proper chance to prove how good he is. Leeds are going right down the table to second division!!!

little sis says: whats up sie its jess your little sis, i know you will do well cus u r wicked. your a top class player and a lovely brother,c u soon. love sis

Alex Myers says: Ur gonna be the next smify part from being a bloody traitor...

Lucas says: i hope simon gets his chances this year, coz fromw ot ive seen of him he looks a better player then jochim and cadimatari, super in the reserves...dont really understand why he hasnt bin given many chances..hasnt he shown his talent?

Big Sis Mel says: Given the chance, he'll prove to be better than 'Smify'. And he's got botty of the year (get's that from me). P.S. Well done re Sunderland Bab Luv Big Sis xxxx
